His first wife, Ceretta Samuels, died in 1958. His second wife, Mami Laitchin Friedman, died in 1997. He was survived by a daughter, Margery Hechtman, a son, Theodore Gertz, two brothers: Robert Gertz and Dr. George Gertz; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

He was buried at Restland Memorial Park on Saturday, Jan. 6, 2001, the Rev. Michael Jackson officiating. Was this man any relation to Anne Goodpasture? They both were in government service and they both came to Dallas in mid-seventies. Both had lived in Tennessee.

While guarding door, Goodson did not see Ruby but said a man "fitting the description of Jack Ruby" came to door and wanted to enter.

Gordon was in Pine Beach, NJ, on Mill Creek Road, in 1964. In Morocco in 1956. At Pentagon in 1959 and lived on Dogwood Drive in Alexandria, VA. 1961 at Guantanamo Naval Base. Hospitalized during 1961. 1961 and 1962 at Naval Ship Yard in Philadelphia. 1963 - at Pentagon. 1964 - St. Petersburg, FL. 1965-1967 at 8th Naval District, New Orleans, LA, as Naval Intelligence Officer. 1968-1976 at Framingham, Massachusetts. From 1976 until death at Georgetown, SC. He taught at Coastal Carolina College, a subsidiary of University of South Carolina. Gordon died September 27, 1987. His daughter is Heather Gordon-Sweetser, 492 Wildwood Ave., Georgetown, SC 29440. (803) 546-3360. Gordon had one son, older than Heather. His nephew is David C. Prior to entering the nursing home, she had lived in Sylmar, CA.
